- Hello everyone! My lands of mercy! Great balls of kitty-kat! I just can’t get over this weather we are having. This is FANTASTIC! I love it! So let’s have some fun. First I want to talk about a community event that has been going on for many, many years. Now it is in financial trouble. The Baltimore Caribbean Festival Carnival needs your help. This year due to budgetary constraints, the carnival is challenged with the cost of services provided by the Baltimore City Police Department and other overhead services required to put this event on. Each year the community enjoys the spectacular pageantry of the Caribbean as masqueraders and revelers take center stage. They only have a couple of months to pay this expense. Give a donation so we can continue enjoying this one-of-a-kind Caribbean-American Carnival Festival. Contact Dr. Elaine Simon, president at 410-362-2957 or email her at elainesimon1@yahoo.com for more information and support.more More Arrow
